On Saturday April 25, 2015 from 8am to 4pm Husted’s Landing will be holding a NJ Boater Safety Course. This is a mandatory 8 hr course that is required by the State of NJ to ensure that boaters have been properly instructed on how to safely operate a powered vessel in NJ waters.
What are the advantages of taking the class at Husted’s?
Husted’s will be offering small class sizes of 10-18 students. This will be a great venue for you to ask specific questions and for getting help to understand some of the following:
– How to create a safe float plan.
– How to use navigation aids.
– How to use safety equipment.
– Understanding the right of way between vessels.
– Learning about proper vessel lighting.
Coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches will be provided in the morning.
A pizza lunch will be provided in the afternoon.
