Fishing Report

On March 8, 2016 I went out of Husted’s Landing at 10:55am and drove the boat around for 30 Minutes or so. The fish finder kept coming up empty and after awhile I spotted a boater that had broken down.  I decided to give him a  tow and about half way back we ran into John who towed him the rest of the way back in.  I went back to looking for fish and I picked up 3 perch in 2 feet of water.  Maybe things were improving, shortly after I moved to another spot and the fish started hitting.  I slammed in 17 TBs with 15 Keepers, sizes 9 to 13 1/2 inches.

At 4:08pm the  water temperature was 43° and when the tide was dead low the water temp. was 51°.
